FAQs
Right now my main focus is small animals of all types, including cats, birds, rabbits, hamsters, fish, some exotics, or other unique pets. If you have a small dog, we can discuss if my services are right for you. Things that must be considered with dogs are age, overall health, and anxiety levels. In some instances, a more suitable arrangement may be for a dog to attend a separate reputable dog boarding facility where he or she will have access to lots of attention and many different fun dog activities multiple times throughout the day.

I work a tight geographic area around the Canton, Ball Ground, Milton, and Woodstock areas. This enables me to budget travel time between appointments to accommodate various feeding schedules. If you aren’t sure if I’m in your area, just call me with your address and I’ll map it!

My rates start at $35 for 30 minutes, no matter the pet. Visits are usually 30 minutes or one hour. This time can be longer depending on the number of pets.
Although there are some pet-sitting services that bill in as little as 20-minute increments, I have found that most high-quality pet visits occur in 30-minute increments. Within that 30-minute visit, your pet gets plenty of love and attention, and I get an opportunity to tidy up around litter boxes and cages and bring in any mail and packages.
Most importantly, I strive to keep the fee structure simple. You don’t have to do fancy math to figure out what you’ll be paying. There are no differing rates based on pet type or breed. There are no additional add-on fees for holidays, no cleanup charges, no key return charge, and no complicated cancellation policies. I explain all of the costs to you upon our first meet-and-greet, and I agree to be 100% transparent with you.

I accept a variety of payments including personal check, cash, Paypal, Venmo, and Zelle.
Due to security concerns, I do not store the house keys of clients at my office on an ongoing basis. Ahead of our first visit, I ask that you go ahead and provide or get a spare key made. You have two choices for key exchange, which we’ll discuss at our meet-and-greet, both of which will not involve multiple trips or riskier handling by a third party, such as using overnight mailers.
Also, if you have other individuals who will be entering the home, such as relatives or a cleaning service, it is required by my insurance policy that you make me aware of this.

No. Since the client and pet experience is especially important to me, I do not outsource/share/subcontract with other sitters. Pets naturally look for consistency in caregivers on their visits and I intend to uphold that standard.
Yes. If a copy of my policy is required, I am happy to provide it.
Given that I’m a solo operation, I cannot always guarantee availability if you have an emergency need. That said, I love my clients (and their pets) and I try to accommodate as best I can.
Absolutely! You don’t have to have pets to take advantage of my services! I’m happy to check in on your home and gather your mail and packages, water plants, spot check appliances, and so on. Feel free to provide me a list of needs while you’re away, and I can give you a competitive rate.
